Who am I?

Hi, I’m Viri. I’ve worked for more than 7 years in digital marketing and over 6 years in the IT industry as a co-founder of two companies in Tampere, Finland. Most recently, I've spent five years as Marketing Manager at Omnitele, an international telecom consulting company, where I supported global teams and projects.

My path combines marketing, entrepreneurship, and international relations. I’ve also worked in embassies and consulates for Finland and Mexico, which gave me valuable experience in global communication, stakeholder management, and working across cultures.

I studied International Relations at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico and at the University of Tampere in Finland. Later I added studies in Digital Marketing at Google Digital Garage in Helsinki and Data Analytics at Aalto University Executive Education. I speak Spanish, English, and Finnish, and I’ve studied Portuguese, which came in handy when collaborating with our team in Brazil at Omnitele.

Outside of work, I enjoy creative projects like painting, photography, videography, and editing. I also love learning new things and following world news. My next personal goal is to learn Swedish. A few years ago, I also founded and managed a community of 500 students in Tampere, where people practiced Spanish with native speakers while sharing Finnish culture.

I thrive in international environments and I’m open to travel or relocation if the right opportunity comes along.
